  1. Matteo’s Salsa Loco, Fenwick Island, DE. We search and search but the Tresarita cannot be beat. Ten years in a row as #1! Tres Amigos tequila mixed with Matt’s own proprietary margarita mix makes everyone who visits this beach side spot smile.
  2. The Pony Room, Rancho Valencia, Del Mar, CA. Whether you sit inside or outside, you will be treated to an amazing margarita. It’s called “the Palomino” and is made with Siete Leguas Reposado and includes spiced vanilla, ginger and citrus. We usually only like the ingredient rule, but this is one exception we are happy to make!
  3. Casa de Reyes, Old Town, San Diego, CA. Nothing beats the vibe you get in Old Town, with a strong chance your margarita will be accompanied by a strolling mariachi band. Complete the mood with a Classic Cadillac using 1800 reposado in a festive glass.
  4. Geronimos, Fairfield/New Haven, CT. These guys have the largest tequila selection on the East Coast – don’t take our word for it, that comes from the NY Times! We are big fans of the bar staff and you can get a good margarita with their self-named version, complete with Corralejo Silver, Combier and fresh lime. On Sundays all margaritas are half price!
  5. La Cava del Tequila, EPCOT, Orlando FL. We know what you’re thinking – Disney makes a good margarita? In a place named “The Cave of Tequila”? But it’s great! Hidden to the right side of the Mexico Pavillion, under the eerie light of a volcano, is one of the best tequila bars in the U.S. Over 200 tequilas to choose from, we like the Casa Dragones Top Shelf.
  6. The Hamilton Hotel, Washington D.C. At the 14k Restaurant, we enjoyed a margarita with Tequila Uno, Dos, and Tres organic (using Dos)
  7. Z’Tejas, Austin, TX. You can’t beat the location and it wouldn’t be a Top 10 list without a Texas restaurant on here. Z’Tejas makes many great versions, but we like the “Hard Day” best with 1800 Reposado, Grand Marnier and Cointreau. You will definitely get the “strange vibe” here!
  8. The Drawing Room, Lotte Hotel, Seoul, Korea. We will travel to the far ends of the world for our followers. This year we found an amazing little bar that served a perfect margarita, straight up, no ice. Try the Don Diablo with Don Julio Blanco and Hibiscus!
  9. Table 45, Intercontinental Hotel, Cleveland, OH. Cleveland Rocks! We were surprised too. But you will find a nice change of pace with the Sunset Margarita featuring Patron Silver and mixed berries.
  10. Copper Vine, New Orleans, LA. It’s name gives away that this is a restaurant focused on wine, but that doesn’t mean they don’t make a great margarita. Their menu features a Tequila Mule, but we removed the ginger beer and were left with great Casamigos taste. A wonderful setting to have a margarita surrounded by plants when you sit outside.
